Blogging Again!

Its been ages since I blogged, partly due to being REALLY busy, but partly because I too, like so many others, have been sucked in by Facebook!

But, its Sunday afternoon, I've got no pressing commitments so I thought I'd upload some photo's of what's been happening lately.

The beginning of September was our Fun Day at Old Buckenham, it was an excellent day, particularly from a weather point of view - those of you that came in 2006 will probably remember that we did have fun even though the day was really cold and a bit wet and windy!! This year was completely different, the weather was fab for us all day and we had a huge turn out of people from MWC, Kingzone and CUTS families. All round a successful day and much fun had by all!

Lovely, lovely Nikos left the N&N in October to go to Bury (boo!) We'll all miss him lots, not just because he's a fab doctor, but because he's our friend. We all went to The Eagle (where else could we go!) for dinner to say "bye for now" to him.

Last weekend was the church weekend at Sizewell. Roger and Mary Jones came for the weekend along with Helen from CMM. It was an excellent weekend, Roger's teaching was very good and it was lovely to chill at Sizewell. Below are a few photo's from Saturday afternoon - a few of us walked down the beach to Thorpeness where we were rewarded with ice-creams from Derek!

Roger's posted some photo's of the band on his pictures website, you can check them out at

Well - that's a bit of an update for you! I'll try and update more regularly in future!!! xx

Jo's 21st Birthday

Cousin Jo is 21 on Wednesday! Can't quite believe it, but it makes me feel old!

On Sunday we all got together at Aunty and Uncle's for a BBQ. Alex and Uncle Michael did a sterling job in torrential rain conditions, but unfortunately the BBQ was aborted in favour of the grill!

Rain aside, it was a really lovely afternoon - good food (especially the M&S salad wheel!!), great company and of course the Birthday Girl. Here are a few of mine and dads combined photo's

Saturday was Mark and Carol's Wedding. We had a really great day and despite recent downpours the weather was perfect. Carol and Mark are now off on their honeymoon, but here are a few photo's from the day

Carol's Hen Night

Saturday night was Carol's Hen Night at Weavers in Diss. It was a really good night, and I know the bride-to-be enjoyed herself.

Here are some photo's from the night!! ; )

Great Yarmouth

On Wednesday we went to Gorleston and then on to Great Yarmouth for the afternoon and evening. It was excellent fun as always.

Ruth and I finally decided to go on the dodgems instead of just watching the boys play - Ruth sustained a minor knee injury which although looked okay straight afterwards looked pretty blue and purple the following day!! More padding needed before next year Ruth.

Here are a few pics, you can see the rest if you go in to my web album and click on the Great Yarmouth folder. Check out the girl who spent the whole time whilst on the dodgems on her mobile phone - aren't there laws against that sort of thing!

The end of 5 happy years ...

5 happy years came to an end today as I picked up my new car!!
The Punto, along with its recently replaced new exhaust, new steering motor, new battery and itsy bitsy dent has been sold to Richard Nash, admittedly for not as much as I or mum had hoped, but there you go - Fiat depreciates in value very fast so I'm told!!
So its
"Good Bye " Fiat Punto
and "Hello" Peugeot 206!

My new car is rather lovely and I plan to keep it looking sparkling - inside and out!! Its got a bit more kick in it than the Punto so look out for me whipping around Hellesdon - obviously within the speed limits : )
